GREEK ORTHODOX COMMUNITY OF WEST ISLAND OF MONTREAL

In our faith the Church, the living Body of Christ, is composed of the living, the dead, and those who have not yet being born, but will compose her living body in the ages to come.

Those who have departed this life are alive in the Church, which preserves their memory unto the ages of ages.

It is for this reason that we offer donations to the memory of our loved ones who have departed this life.

If you would like to perpetuate their memory with a donation to our church, you may do so by specifying that your offer is IN MEMORIAM, to the memory of the person you would like to be prayed for in the church, with a mention of their name.

Your offering will be treated as a donation, with the proper receipt issued in your name.

HOW TO DONATE

1. Donations can be given at anytime at the church secretary’s office or calling the office (514-684-6462). Church office is open Monday between 11 am and 2 pm and Tuesday to Friday between 11 am and 6 pm. Request a temporary receipt for any cash donations
2. Donations can be done here on-line using Paypal, Clic on DONATE icon below
3. You may donate by completing a donation form and mailing by regular post
4. Donations are also be done through your employer with Centraide through your payroll

Donation receipts are provided for all donations of above $20 per year. Donation receipts are provided in January and February for the previous year. The donations receipts can be picked-up at the secretary’s office (if requested), or they will be mailed by regular post.
